Born in Montreal to parents of Greek origin, Christos Karteris is the son of restauranteurs established for over 50 years in the Tétreaultville neighbourhood in east-end Montreal.
He left the restaurant business last year to enter politics. As a man of action as well as a good listener eager to serve Montrealers, Mr. Karteris firmly believes that it is only by working together that Quebecers will succeed in implementing the changes so necessary for the province.
“During the crisis of the pandemic, I became aware that we need to make major changes in Quebec—all of us, together. My goal is to respect individual decisions and the rights of all citizens, and I want us to find solutions as a team. For me, the CPQ is the key to success in accomplishing these changes.”
