For almost 50 years, Daniel Desnoyers has been a well-known and well-respected businessman in the region due both to his social involvement, and to his work with bereaved families.
After graduating from the Quebec Institute of Thanatology in 1976, he made a career in the family business, Complexe Funéraire Desnoyers. Having now passed that torch to his son, he has decided to continue helping families in the region by running as a candidate for the Conservative Party of Quebec.
“For over 50 years, my work has required me to be present, empathetic, and attentive to people in the most difficult moments of their lives. In this moment, it is our society as a whole that is going through difficult times. I want to continue to be that solid and available person who gets involved and fights for his fellow citizens. I want to be their voice in the National Assembly. I want to argue their cases and raise the issues that concern them in their daily lives in order to give them hope and power over their own lives. I am committed to this.”
