A mother of three grown children, Eve Théoret has been a resident of Vaudreuil for 14 years. She is very involved in her community and regularly prepares hot meals for delivery to lonely and isolated people during the holiday season. She has worked with the public all her life, holding jobs in the hotel industry and as a manager in her father’s chiropractic clinic.
The economy is a real concern for Ms. Théoret, because, as a mother, she wants her children to have the same opportunities for their futures that she herself has enjoyed.
“The current state of the economy worries me, locally as well as globally. I understand that you can’t control everything, but it’s clear to me that you can’t shut down the economy for almost two years without leaving an immeasurable trail of negative consequences. I want our children to regain hope for a bright future filled with opportunities. But for that to happen, we need a complete overhaul of the way our province works. And only the CPQ is proposing concrete measures to give families some respite.”
