A Peruvian-born Quebecer established in the province at the age of 17, Gala Durand has lived in her region for 22 years. Since 2017, she has been working as a senior quality assurance analyst and more recently became a team manager for a Montreal-based IT company.
A resident of Saint-Marthe-sur-le-Lac for over 15 years now, she is particularly sensitive to all things freedom-related, having lived under the threat of a far-left terrorist group in her country of origin.
“I am living proof that the harmonious and positive integration of immigrants is eminently possible. As a future MNA, immigration will be one of my main priorities. In addition to defending freedom with all my might, I will also speak out on the very concrete, down-to-earth issues relevant to our riding, such as improving both traffic flow on the 640 and home care for our seniors.”
