Gary Charles is a 59-year-old real estate broker with an MBA from the John Molson School of Business and a Bachelor of Communications from McGill University. He is the former president of Alphagraphics Duluth and was also the owner of MSB Prestige.
For the past three years, he has been a real estate broker with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Quebec and Royal Lepage, as well as President of Ketotteria Inc. Mr. Charles is very concerned about Bill 96, which he considers “destructive and divisive.”
“My riding is roughly one third Anglophone, one third Francophone and one third allophone. A major concern for all is Bill 96 and its impact on the economy. I have spoken to many entrepreneurs, both Francophone and Anglophone, who are seriously considering moving their business out of Quebec and into a more business-friendly jurisdiction like Ontario. Constituents here want to return to a pre-Bill 96 era. I am sure many of us agree that an update to Bill 101 is all that is needed to restore harmony between all language groups in Quebec.”
