Grace Daou

A mother, a scientist specialising in hypertension and heart disease, a teacher and an entrepreneur, Grace Daou holds a Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a Master’s degree in physiology from Université de Montréal.

After developing through her work in scientific fields at the CHUM and as a teacher of young people, Ms. Daou decided to pursue an entrepreneurial career alongside her husband, and this last is what has inspired her to enter politics. She has had a front row seat to the disastrous effects of the health measures imposed by the CAQ on Quebec businesses.

“Every day I see the effects of the various shortages, the labour shortage, the skyrocketing cost of transportation, and all the pressure that this puts on our entrepreneurs. In short, I am able to witness the different facets of the CAQ’s abusive health measures and irresponsible spending, and that is what pushed me to get involved in politics in order to change things.”
