Kim Beaudoin has worked in the health care system, first as a nursing assistant and then as a clinical nurse on the intensive care team which she joined in 2016.
In 2021, she left the system, driven by a feeling of powerlessness in the face of the absence of any real will on the part of leaders to improve the health care system. Describing herself as “a woman who is more than persuasive when she wants answers and to make things happen,” she was convinced to make the leap into politics by the winds of change proposed by the Conservative Party of Quebec.
“Many societal issues are at stake at the moment, and I have a deep conviction that I have to be a part of this change. It is my responsibility as a mother, as a citizen, and as a former health care worker, to stand up for measures that will protect our society today and in the future.”
