Louis-Charles Fortier has been active in politics for many years, at both the provincial and federal levels.
Since 2007, he has held various positions, including within the Action Démocratique du Québec (ADQ) as that party’s President of Communications, and on the team of current CAQ Minister Éric Caire during the ADQ leadership race in 2009. From 2011 to 2020, Mr. Fortier was involved in the Conservative Party of Canada, and he ran for the Conservative Party of Quebec in Jacques-Cartier in both the 2014 and 2018 provincial elections.
“I am convinced that we become stronger by uniting around our common values. I am a fervent supporter of both individual rights and freedoms, and of sound fiscal management, and this is exactly what the Conservative Party of Quebec is offering to Quebecers. I am, therefore, very happy to run again in Jacques-Cartier, a riding that I know well and that I hold dear.”
