“I am, and have always been, 100% in favour of using our natural resources wisely in Quebec. We need these resources for a rapid transition to sustainable energy. We have to stop pretending to be poor in Quebec with our dependence on other countries. The values of the left regarding the environment are not in opposition to our economic vision, they are complementary to it. I am a supporter of self-sufficiency. The pragmatism of the Conservative Party and its economic and unifying visions for Quebec appeal to me.”
