Born in Quebec City, Stéphane Turmel holds a degree in Engineering Technology Physics from the robotics department of the Cégep de La Pocatière and in automated production engineering from the École de technologie supérieure (ETS).
He has lived in Sainte-Dorothée with his family for 22 years. Over the past two years, Mr. Turmel has seen the disconnection between politics and the people of Quebec. He is committed to re-establish this lost connection between his fellow citizens and the other elected officials of his region.
“The current global economic situation demands that we reduce public expenses while guaranteeing services worthy of the third largest city in Quebec. I plan to work closely with the other ridings and the mayor of Laval to minimize our expenses and maximize our investments by upgrading our existing aging infrastructure. Just think of our sporting infrastructures.”
